Position
We are looking for a Director of Project Development (Energy Storage, Battery Storage, BESS). Specifically looking for someone that is an expert in complex storage systems. Ideal candidate will have Solar + Storage experience with quantifiable results of projects that were developed, built, and are operational. ***Preference towards individuals that have experience within the Eastern half of the USA ****
Must have deep experience in market strategy and firm grasp of energy project development, economic value optimization, contract negotiation, and power plant entitlement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years experience with Energy Storage Development
- Experience working with an owner / developer
- Quantifiable results and ability to illustrate projects that you have taken from cradle to grave
- Strong preference towards individuals who have also participated in obtaining Power Purchase Agreements or worked with Power Marketing / Origination team closely.
Location: This can be a remote position, preferably located in Central or Eastern USA. Preference will be for the individual to be in a major metro and have ability to travel as needed to evaluate sites, meet with team, meet with vendors / government authorities / etc.
